Rebecca, Aimee, and Stephen sit with Lourdes Ubidia author of Manny’s Mood Clouds to discuss her book, real life living with a mental illness and issues in our public spaces treating mental illness in youth. Lourdes Ubidia is a New York born illustrator and animator. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and graduated from The City College of New York with a BFA. Originally interested solely in illustrative work intended for children, she has since developed a passion for animation that has led her to seek opportunities in the field of television and online programming for younger audiences and families. She has lent a hand in creating content for companies such as CardSnacks and PilarToons, LLC. Her animation work has been shown in college festivals.
